Order picking forklift trucks are used across warehouses and distribution centres to pick and pack stock. They’re a different machine to a standard forklift — the operator controls are built into the lifting media and elevate with it, meaning you ride the platform up with the load.
Because of that, a person operating one is required to hold an order picking forklift truck High Risk Work Licence (HRWL). Your standard forklift ticket does not cover you.
This course gives you the skills and knowledge to operate an order picking forklift safely and in accordance with all relevant legislative requirements. You’ll cover load handling, hazard management and workplace safety, with a strong focus on planning, operating and packing up correctly.
Upon successful completion, you’ll receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment, allowing you to apply for your High Risk Work Licence through Work Health and Safety Queensland.
We train complete beginners and operators renewing an existing certification. Either way, you’ll finish meeting your workplace safety obligations and ready to work.
