Welcome to Brisbane Truck Licences. By accessing or using our website, booking a course, or participating in training or assessment, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. General

These Terms & Conditions apply to all users of our website and all participants in our training and assessment services. Brisbane Truck Licences reserves the right to update or amend these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our website or services indicates acceptance of any changes.

2. Services

Brisbane Truck Licences provides heavy vehicle licence training, practical driving tests (PDT), Verification of Competency (VOC), forklift training, and related services. All training is delivered by qualified trainers in accordance with Queensland road rules, TMR requirements, and national safety standards.

2.1 HR/MR Driver Training & Licensing

Brisbane Truck Licences provides HR/MR driver training in accordance with Queensland road rules, TMR requirements, and national safety standards. Training is delivered by qualified trainers, and all practical driving components are conducted using our training vehicles.

The final licence test is conducted directly by the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR). After completing training with Brisbane Truck Licences, the student will undertake a 60-minute practical driving test with a TMR driving examiner. TMR is responsible for determining the outcome of the test and issuing the MR or HR licence upon successful completion.

Brisbane Truck Licences is responsible for training only and does not influence or guarantee the outcome of the TMR test.

3. Bookings & Payments
  • A non-refundable deposit of $200.00 is required to secure all bookings.
  • The remaining balance must be paid in full by the due date stated on the invoice.
  • Failure to clear the outstanding balance by the invoice due date will result in forfeiture of the deposit and automatic cancellation of the booking without reschedule or refund.
  • Bookings are only confirmed once payment has been received.
4. Cancellation, Withdrawal & Rescheduling
4.1 Within 7 Days of Training/Testing

Any cancellation, withdrawal, postponement, or date change made within 7 days of the scheduled training or test date will incur 100% of the course fees. No reschedule or refund is available.

4.2 No-Show or Unprepared

No refund or reschedule is available if the trainee:

  • Does not attend the scheduled training or test
  • Arrives without a physical/digital QLD Driver Licence
  • Arrives without enclosed footwear
  • Arrives late
  • Fails to comply with safety requirements
5. Training & Assessment
  • Trainees must arrive on time, well-rested, and prepared.
  • All instructions from trainers must be followed at all times.
  • Brisbane Truck Licences reserves the right to refuse training or assessment if the trainee is affected by drugs, alcohol, or any condition that may impair safe operation.
6. Vehicle Damage, Insurance Excess & Liability

By participating in training or testing, the trainee acknowledges and agrees to the following:

  • The insurance excess for the training vehicle is $2,000.00.
  • If the trainee causes damage due to error, collision, rollback, mounting a kerb, misjudging a turn, incorrect operation, or failure to follow instructions, the trainee is responsible for paying the full $2,000.00 excess.
  • The excess must be paid within 7 days of receiving the invoice.
  • If payment is not made, Brisbane Truck Licences may commence debt recovery and/or QCAT proceedings.

The following additional costs will be added to the outstanding amount:

  • QCAT application fees
  • Debt recovery costs
  • A fixed administration fee of $1,500.00

These costs represent reasonable expenses involved in preparing, lodging, and managing the matter through QCAT and external recovery processes.

7. Certification

Certificates, endorsements, or licence upgrades will only be issued upon successful completion of all required training and assessment components. Brisbane Truck Licences reserves the right to withhold certification if competency standards are not met.

8. Privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Personal information collected during bookings or assessments is used solely for delivering our services and communicating with you. Information will not be shared with third parties except where required by law or necessary forlicensing purposes. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.

9. Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, images, branding, and training materials, is the property of Brisbane Truck Licences. Content may not be reproduced, copied, or distributed without written permission.
