The General Construction Induction Training (GCIT), commonly known as the white card, is required by employers before you can work on any construction site in Australia. Upon successful completion, you’ll be awarded the CPCCWHS1001 — preparing you to work safely in the construction industry.
After completing the course, the RTO will issue you with a construction induction training card. The white card does not have an expiry date, but you must keep it on you at all times while on site.
This certification is mandatory for anyone seeking employment in the construction industry. Our trainers have hands-on experience across all aspects of construction and the safety training around it.

We deliver the full CPCCWHS1001 course with experienced trainers who know construction sites — not just the textbook. The course covers the safety knowledge and awareness you need before you set foot on site.
If you need it done for work or to start a new career in construction, we can get you sorted.
To work on any construction site in Australia, you need a white card. Without it, employers won’t give you a second look. Getting your GCIT certification ticks that box and lets you get on with finding work.
If you see a role in construction that interests you, this is the first step.
